Accessibility
Last updated: July 10, 2026
Everyone gets to forge. ForgedStoic is committed to making this site and the 75-Day Record usable by as many people as possible, including people who rely on assistive technology. Our target is WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
What we've built in
- Keyboard access — every action (navigation, the day grid, check-offs, forms, purchase) works without a mouse, with a visible brass focus indicator on the active element.
- Screen-reader support — semantic landmarks and heading structure, text alternatives on meaningful images, and accessible names on all controls (each of the 75 day cells announces its day and status).
- Contrast — text colors are checked against WCAG AA contrast ratios on our dark theme, including small print.
- Reduced motion — if your device sets prefers-reduced-motion, animations and transitions are disabled.
- Touch & zoom— controls meet minimum touch-target sizes, form fields don't trigger forced zoom on phones, and pinch-zoom is never blocked.
Known limitations
- Exercise form demos are visual (photo sequences and silent video). Each is paired with a written movement name, plain-English sets/reps, and a text coaching cue, which we consider the accessible equivalent — but we review this as demos evolve.
- Payments run on Stripe's checkout pages; accessibility there is governed by Stripe, which publishes its own conformance work.
